Website Design & Development

 

TGL takes your website project from design to development for a base price of $850. Up to 10 pages are included, with a nominal fee of $25 for an unlimited amount of additional pages. No project's too large. I've personally done websites with well over 100 pages and several hundred graphics to include a custom designed, online store with hundreds of product pictures, descriptions and buy buttons. In the case of major projects, i.e., exceeding 30 pages with multiple graphics, etc..., the per page fee is waived and TGL will work to find a flat rate that works within the clients budget. So, just tell TGL what you want and I'll take it from there.

Have you heard of our outrageous special? Most of the services you'd normally expect to pay for are FREE!! Better hurry. We can't do this forever. Our regular prices are already great, but nothing beats FREE!!

 

Maintenance

 

Getting a website up and running is only the initial stage of launching your professional web presence to the consumer market. Maintenance is another. Maintenance of a website consists of touch-ups, informational changes and minor revisions made to the existing website content. And, in the case of monthly publications, newsletters, etc., will include new content and/or graphics. Basically, it's all of those tedious, must do tasks that keep your website's information up to date, but don't incur additional cost as with actual design changes, or overall site re-creation.

TGL performs maintenance on all of our sites for only $50 per month. That's less than half of what most companies charge, even those who boast of low prices. The first month's maintenance fee is included in overall pricing. However, each subsequent months payment is due on, or before the first day of the following month.

Web Hosting

 

TGL charges a small, yearly hosting fee of $120 payable at time of contract with subsequent payments due on, or before the current hosting contract ends. Only the most reliable servers are used for our client's websites. In fact, we use the same one for ourselves and have for quite some time, so we know it's number one and the service to you will be first rate. The uptime is 99%, but no site I've created has ever been down. Also, TGL does not limit the space your website can use, so add as many pages, graphics, web files, etc... as you like. You can also add websites within you, or "sub-domains" as explained under 'Domain Names' below. Monthly data transfer is 100GB, but rarely does a website require anywhere near that. Additional data transfer can be purchased for a small fee should the need arise.

 

Domain Name

 

Registration ($25)

   

Domain name registration is secured by TGL for 1 full year at a cost of $25 per year. Clients wishing to register for more than one year will be accommodated accordingly. All domains are owned by client; not TGL. I've seen scammer web developers secure domain names under their company's name, or even personal name, and, if the client later decides to go with another web design company, they hold the domain name hostage. TGL does not practice such gutter tactics and finds it disgusting to see that others do. It's an unfair practice used against unsuspecting clients and a shameful reward for the trust they've given and monies paid. Domain registration and related information will be provided upon request following domain set-up and payment. Integrity is first and foremost in all that we do.

 

Set-Up

   

Registration and set-up can be two separate tasks. In the case of domain transfer, or domains purchased outside of the hosting company for use within it, set-up becomes necessary to insure the website works correctly. If a domain name is purchased via TGL, set up is free. Otherwise, a small fee of $25 will be charged.

Email

 

Depending upon the size and structure of your business, or organization, a uniform email source can prove quite valuable. TGL provide up to 10 email accounts at 500MB each with every website purchase. Additional emails of 500MB can be purchased at $5 per year. Larger, 2GB accounts are available at $10 per year, per account.

Accounts can be accessed via our webmail source, or your organization may set it up to work with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and many other email editors. If you choose to use the latter method, all necessary information will be provided.

In the case a client is unfamiliar with how to set up email editors, TGL will provide this service at only $15 per account.

 

E-Commerce

 

TGL will gladly set up eCommerce capabilities on purchased, or pre-existing websites, at a base rate of $350 and continued rate of $65 per hour thereafter. A completely custom, online store including client supplied, product pictures & descriptions will be created based on your written design submission. Or, for an additional $75, (a sizable reduction from the $125 fee), TGL will design the store based on client's verbal ideas.

If product photos are not available, TGL can provide photography services at a base rate of $125 and $10 per product thereafter. In the case of larger stores with a multitude of products, an affordable, flat rate that fits within the client's budget can be agreed upon.

TGL's chosen, online payment processor is PayPal because, like us, they offer the best rates without compromising quality, or customer service. They have the lowest rates around, they accept all major credit cards and debit cards bearing the MasterCard and VISA logos, have no upfront costs, no lengthy, application process, or start-up fee, and they're the easiest, online service to join. I've used them for years without any problems and feel quite comfortable in doing so for my clients as well.

However, with respect to varied, client preferences in this regard, those who prefer to use other payment processors can have them incorporated for a nominal and additional fee of $125.

Multi-Media Capabilities

 

Music and Video has become a popular method of getting a website's message to the general public. It's a sure way to enhance the entertainment, or otherwise creatively informative website while adding just the right touch of audience appeal. TGL will be happy to incorporate your previously prepared, music files at only $15 per file. Or, we can provide music selections based on client preference at $25 per selection.

Video is client provided and incorporated at $15 per clip. Due to size limitations on email attachments, audio and video files are best submitted via CD sent through regular mail.

Custom players can be provided for both Music and Video files at only $45 per website and up to 5 files.

 

Online Forms

 

TGL can design & create simple to complex forms tailored to your business from $25 - $125 per form. Or... we can integrate your existing form at the same rate. Give your business an added, personal touch by inviting visitors to give feedback, ask questions, address concerns, request appointments, enroll, apply for a position, or submit requested information.

Database Integration

   

With the multiple user access, members of your administrative team can manipulate user submitted information via our database integration and TGL sets it all up. This cost is only $45 per form.

 

Database Management

   

Don't have an administrative team? Too busy for such tedious tasks? Don't fret! With over 20 years of data entry/supervisory/management experience, TGL's got you covered. Daily, weekly, monthly, periodically, we're here for you. The cost is a base rate of $75 payable at time of contract, and $35 per hour thereafter payable upon completion of each assigned project.

If database management is secured at time of website project contract, the $35 integration fee is waived.

 

Mass Emails

   

Up to 100 emails per month can be sent to your existing email list without your having to lift a finger. Let TGL know your mass email needs and we'll set it all up for you. Emails will be sent to everyone who has submitted a form and is, therefore, listed in your database. If you've purchased database management services from TGL, this monthly service fee is waived and only a $35 set up fee is applied.

If you have an existing email list and you'd like to set up a automation for sending on a recurring date, we can handle that too. Let us know the size of your email list and the budget you're working with and we'll do all that we can to assist.

 

Group Emails

   

Group emails differ from 'mass emails in that they are sent only to the persons in your organization. For most smaller entities, this is a service which can be provided in-house. However, if you're an individual entity, or one whose lightly staffed, TGL would be happy to assist. Let us know your business needs and we'll work within your budget.

 

Auto Notifications

   

TGL's forms service provides automated notifications each time anyone uses your form. If you elect to maintain the database yourself, you can choose to be provided with options to decline, or approve every form. Or, have each form go into your database with an email notification to you each time this occurs. Automated notification is a free service offered by TGL with every form purchase.

 

Clients who choose to manage their own database, can receive management tools set up for up to 20 users at $15 per user.

Auto Responders

   

TGL's form service provides an automated reply each time your form is submitted. Set up for this feature includes professional email creation with user personalization for one time fee of $15.

 

Newsletters & Announcements

   

Deciding what to say can be a cumbersome, time consuming tasks, particularly for those of you who have a multitude of other matters to tend to. With over 30 years in the administrative the field from entry level to management, TGL is well equipped to handle your newsletter and announcement needs. This is another one of our many services which do not carry a set rate, but rather has rate determined by client budget. So, access your needs, give us a call and let us take it from there.

Graphic Design

 

Design of custom graphics for implementation into website, or other use at only $125 base (non-refundable and due at time of contract) and $65 per hour thereafter. This low price with capped ceiling is exceptionally advantageous to up and coming artists looking for top quality CD jacket artwork while operating on a restrictive budget, as well as website seekers who want that true, one-of-a-kind graphic that stands them out in a crowd. Total price includes up to 3 hours of consultation, proof reviews and up to 5 revisions of agreed upon design.

If a particular design is required with little room for variations, client must provided written specifications with well defined color preferences.

As colors differ from software to software and printer to printer, TGL not responsible for color variations beyond our control, or projects that differ slightly from requested design.

Custom Logo

 

Logos created based on customer input $125. Designs provided by TGL at $250 with no additional, hourly rate. Complex design creations slightly higher. Determinations made before time of contract.

Search Engine Submissions

 

Search engines account for millions of successful website visitations making them possibly the most valued attribute of the world wide web. TGL provides website submission services to all clients for a nominal fee of $35. It is suggested that clients provide an alternate email account, or allow TGL to create one for them at no additional cost, as many search engine submissions result in multiple feed back emails based on status and success.

Frontpage Training

 

TGL uses Frontpage 2003 for website publication while incorporating other useful tools, products and services for prime, custom website generation. In the case of clients wishing to maintain their own sites, but not having much experience with Frontpage, personal training can be provided at a cost of $125 for initial consultation to include a 1 hour session and $45 per session thereafter not to exceed 1 hour.

Group sessions of up to 5 persons can be taught at a discounted rate of $75 per hour at no less than 2 hours per session, and 6 to 12 persons at $125 per hour at no less than 3 hours per session. Persons familiar with website design, or editors may only require a single, 2-3 hour session. However, those completely new to web design may require two sessions. In the case a 3rd session is required, TGL will provide up to 2 free hours for the same group with 1 free call for over the phone assistance not to exceed one hour.

Keep in mind the purpose of these sessions are to learn how to maintain a website built with Frontpage 2003 and, therefore, relative aspects will be taught. However, questions regarding the overall aspect of Frontpage 2003 will be addressed as time permits and the group progresses.

 

No Advertisements!!

 

TGL will never put advertising banners on your website as a 'trade off' for free webhosting. Our webhosting is FREE for 1 full year with a small, one time fee per year following. There are no hidden agendas. Unlike many free hosting companies and nickel-and-dimer deals, TGL keeps your website totally banner free . Of course, if you choose to include ad banners to generate revenue before, or after the website project is completed, this can be done for a nominal fee.

Without exception... TGL websites include the following notation, or something to this effect, in the Footer (copyright area at bottom of each website page) which includes a link to TGL website:

   "Give your business a professional web presence at an affordable price. Contact: The Graphics Lady".

  

(Adding Web Designer contact info and link is a normal and quite frequent occurrence for all web designers and can usually be found in the footer of all websites whether they are commercial, non-profit, etc. However, as some clients may be more accustomed to Web Designers linking to their email address, rather than their website, or a variety of different wordings, as a courtesy, TGL opted to add this notation. For the sake of our "No Advertisement" clause, this notation is not considered "advertisement" as it gives visitors direct access to web designer in the case of technical difficulties and for the purpose of notification of site problems such as pages not working, etc..., thereby substantially decreasing any downtime the site may incur.)
